When you wish to pursue an academic or professional career internationally, you need to prove your English language skills. This is done by taking the UK Visa and Immigration approved test called The International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
IELTS for UKVI has some extra protocols to ascertain the authenticity of the person who is taking the test. The test report is different from the IELTS for Academic or General Training. The test includes the IELTS Life Skills test – which is an English speaking, listening skills test to apply and get a UK VISA. This is needed to prove certain Visa categories and immigration needs.
